Colon and Breast Cancer
Diagnosed 1976
My husband and I have both been stricken twice with cancer. But thanks to IAT and their treatments, we are now enjoying excellent health. My cancers were colon and breast. My husband Earl had prostate and kidney cancer. I started treatment at IAT in 1976 when Dr. Burton, the founder, was still in Long Island, NY. When he moved to Freeport the next Spring, my husband and I were among the first to be treated there. During those early years I took the treatments for my breast and colon cancer, while Earl accompanied me. But in 1993 Earl developed prostate and kidney cancer and entered the program too. Earl’s cancers were considered slow-growing, but my prognosis in 1976 was 3-6 months. Earl and I are so thankful for the clinic and the treatments we have received. We both look forward to our semi-annual tune-ups while enjoying the sunshine and beautiful beaches of nearby Lucaya.
